After the sourcing of fabrics, our batch of textiles is sent to a tiny parts of the world to be sewn on a fair trade basis and step-by-step turned into a beautiful, individual and lovable piece of the Tassel Tales collection.
INDIA - SAHELI WOMEN
Pieces of our prêt-à-porter collection are sewn by women from the ethical fashion social enterprise Saheli Women. A social and women empowering enterprise employing around 20 women, which was launched as a social initiative by the non-profit organisation IPHD (Institute for Philanthropy and Humanitarian Development) for rural community development.
MOROCCO - AL KAWTAR
Our handmade tassels and upcycled Jeans Jackets are beautifully made by the women of the Al Kawtar women’s collective which is supporting handicapped women in Marrakech.
FRANKFURT - STITCH BY STITCH
Our Vintage Jeans Jackets are also beautifully upcycled by the women working for the organization Stitch by Stitch, a support helping refugees from over the world to socially integrate themselves in Germany with their work.
INDIA - PRINCESS DIYA KUMERI FOUNDATION
The Princess Diya Kumeri foundation in Jaipur, India, is a social initiative founded by the Princess Diya Kumari of Jaipur which is a non-govermental organization that aims to support unprivileged women in Rajasthan.
We also support small manufactures and artisans in the vibrant souks of Marrakech where some of our products are handmade with passion and care.
